Together We Can Become a
No Kill Community
Last year over 1,800 dogs and cats entering Lincoln County Animal Services (LCAS) in Lincolnton, NC, were killed, yet the majority of these innocent animals were healthy and adoptable. They are being killed every day without a voice - until now.
In November 2013, the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners directed Lincoln County Animals Services to become a No Kill Shelter. In order for this to happen, it will take our entire community. Helping Animals To Survive (HATS) was independently formed to help the community embrace the No Kill Equation, a proven way to become a No Kill community. To become a No Kill community, we need you. Get educated by visiting our learning center. Get involved: Volunteer. Spread the word. Tell your friends. Donate. Every dollar counts.
